Current Board Members

The District is governed by an elected five-member board.  The board is responsible for oversight of the District, setting District policies, and promoting District programs.  The current members of the board are:

​Monthly Board Meetings

Regular monthly meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month at 9:00 a.m. in the meeting room at the U.S.D.A. office building on 34 (Boon) Road in Cadillac, MI.  The public is welcome and encouraged to attend these meetings.  Members of the public may address the board during the time reserved for public comments, with each person allocated a time of three minutes.

Elections

Board members are elected by the residents of Wexford County.  Usually, one or two seats are up for election every year.  Terms are for 4 years.  The next election will be held in November 2022.  Photo I.D. showing residence in Wexford County is required to cast a ballot.

Nominating Petition

If you are interested is serving on the board of directors, you may pick up a nominating petition at the District office.  Completed petitions for the 2022 election.
